  • Sponsored Programs - information pertaining to the financial administration of sponsored program accounts
  • Property Management - instructions on managing university-owned equipment in your department and on notifying Accounting Services of changes in the status or location of equipment

General Page Layout

Every  page in the Accounting Service Web Site is layed out identically for navigation purposes.

Banner Area

The banner area of each page contains the IPFW logo and a list of the topical areas of the web site, as well as links back to the Accounting Services home page and the university's home page.

To go to a particular area of the web site, click on the name of the topic to go to that part of the web site.

Content Area

The middle section of each page contains the content of the topic.  It may contain additional links to other topical areas.

A Note about External Links

In order to help you "keep your place" on the Accounting Services web site, links to external web pages are designed to open in an entirely new Netscape or Internet Explorer window. Once you have located the information you need on the external site, simply close the window and you should find yourself right where you left off on the Accounting Services web site.

Windows 95/98 users will see a new Netscape icon appear on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Windows 3.1 users will not see anything obvious that indicates a new window has opened. If you try to use your back button to return to the Accounting Services page from which you came, however, you will be unable to get any furthe back than the first external link you went to. Simply close the browser window and you will be back in the original browser session, right at the Accounting Services page you were last on.

(Some older browsers don't support multiple sessions. With these browsers, you will have to use your BACK button to return to the Accounting Services Web Site.)

Bottom Border

The bottom border of each page contains links back to the main topics of the site, plus any additional topics related to your current topic.

Search Form

Additionally, there is a general search link on each page. If you didn't find the topic you were looking for, click on this link to go to the search form. Type in a keyword that describes the topic you're looking for and submit it to the search engine. You'll get a list of pages matching your keyword.

Comment Form

At the bottom of the page, beneath the copyright notice, is a link to the Comment Form.  If you have a suggestion, a comment or a question about the web site - click on this form and you can submit your comments to the Manager of Accounting Services.
